Smart locker technology for manufacturers

You build the cabinets. Add the capability to deliver, exchange, collect and rent. Combine your metalwork, joinery or bespoke furniture expertise with LockerLauncher software and compatible hardware to develop a new service offer for your customers.

Your craftsmanship. A new customer proposition.

For metal locker manufacturers, cabinet makers, custom furniture businesses and shop fit-out contractors, a smart handover solution can extend what you already sell. A fitted cabinet becomes part of a service: a resident collects laundry, a customer picks up an order or a member returns equipment. The opportunity is a differentiated offer — not guaranteed revenue.

Residential buildings

Build integrated parcel rooms, laundry handovers, key exchange or lending-library cabinetry that fits the lobby rather than treating technology as an afterthought.

Retail & shop fit-outs

Offer online-order collection, repair drop-off or after-hours pickup within a shopfront. Safe customer access, item suitability and local permissions determine the opening hours you can offer.

From cabinet to connected locker

The back office manages sites and workflows. The Pi site computer connects the location, the tablet presents the customer interface, and the compatible lock controller operates the doors and reports status. These are coordinated parts of a system, not a promise that any cabinet connects with a single cable.

  1. Your cabinet

Specify compartment sizes, material, door clearances, lock mounting and secure access for servicing.

  2. Locks & controller

Agree compatible electronic locks, controller protocol, power requirements and door-status sensing before manufacture.

  3. Pi site computer

Plan protected mounting, ventilation, power and connectivity for the site computer and associated hardware.

  4. Tablet / iPad interface

Allow for a secure, accessible screen mount. Confirm the exact tablet or iPad model, app support and device management with us before purchase.

Choose the business model you can support

You could supply the cabinet and installation while a customer operates the service; deliver an integrated project with an agreed technology scope; or propose an ongoing maintenance and managed-service arrangement. Agree who contracts for software, owns the customer relationship, handles support and pays for replacements. Do not offer resale, white-label or revenue-sharing terms until they are agreed in writing.

A distinctive offer might help win a fit-out project or extend an existing building relationship. Validate demand and price the whole job: fabrication, electronics, integration, installation, commissioning, warranty and service visits. LockerLauncher software starts from $100 per month; custom integration and other services are quoted separately.
